Serves 2-3 people


1 – 20 oz package of Chinese egg noodles
1 tbsp rice bran oil or vegetable oil
4 tbsp of butter
5 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tbsp Maggi seasoning or soy sauce
1 ½ tsp sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
¼ cup of grated Parmesan cheese


Heat up a pot of water until boiling. Add the noodles into the boiling water and cook the noodles for about 3 minutes. Taste! Do not overcook as the noodles will turn soggy. Drain noodles well, put in bowl and toss with 1 tbsp of oil, this will prevent the noodles from sticking if you don’t pan fry them right away.

Melt butter in sauté pan, add garlic and sauté until aromatic but not browned, add noodles and sauté for mix well. Add Maggi or soy sauce, sugar, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Make sure to mix thoroughly. Transfer to serving bowl, toss with Parmesan cheese.
Garnish with more Parmesan cheese.
