Cancellation Policy

PUBLIC COOKING CLASSES


Please call or email us to cancel a class.  In order to properly staff our classes and order supplies, bookings can be canceled as follows:

  • Fewer than 3 days prior to class: Not refundable
  • 3-29 days prior to class: Full refund, minus a 3% cancellation fee
  • 30+ days prior to class: Full refund
  • In lieu of a refund, customers may transfer their reservation to another guest at any time or rebook a different class. (Customers may reschedule their reservation only once.)
  • If Hands On Gourmet cancels a public class due to lack of enrollment or other internal issue, customers may choose to receive a full refund or transfer their booking to another date/class.


PRIVATE EVENTS

  

Cancellation of the contract by Client for any reason shall forfeit the entire Event Deposit unless Client provides written Notification to the Company a full thirty (30) calendar days before the Event Date. Upon timely and prescribed written cancellation Notification, the Company shall refund to Client the Deposit and, if paid, the Balance of Event Cost, less any costs incurred to date and time of cancellation Notification. Costs that may have been incurred include, but are not limited to, any rental deposits or payments, payments of costs or purchase of items specifically for Client’s Event. Repayment of any portion of Client’s costs or Deposit shall not waive the Company's right to withhold another portion of the Deposit. Any costs or applicable fees shall be withheld from the Deposit or Balance returned to Client. In cases of cancellation, to include illnesses, within 72 hours of the event, you will be charged an amount to cover the staff that had committed to working and the food purchased for the event. We will subtract those fees from your deposit and apply the remainder to a new date.
