Each Hands On Gourmet event is custom-designed. We’ve worked with groups as small as 10 and as large as 300. Our goal is to make the process as easy, convenient, and fun as possible.

Set the Scene: SF Home Kitchen or Satellite Venues

Our spacious kitchen in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco offers sweeping views of the Bay and can accommodate up to 65 people. Hands On Gourmet is also a completely mobile operation and can bring the party just about anywhere. Once we understand your needs, we’ll work together to determine the perfect location for your HOG event. Our satellite kitchens include wineries, converted barns, botanical gardens, and other private spaces.

Pick an Event Format

Sit-down Dinner or Strolling Feast

Events last three hours and begin with an opportunity to socialize, enjoy a local cheese board, and a beverage. Guests then divide into individual cooking groups for an interactive, fun cooking experience.

Sit-down Dinner: A more intimate format, great for smaller groups. After cooking, guests sit and enjoy the delicious meal they have created, family-style.

Strolling Dinner: This high energy format is perfect for larger groups. Dishes are served on passed platters, tapas-style, providing ample opportunity for socializing and sampling a wide array of food!

Hungry for More?

Our guests talk about our events for weeks afterward and enjoy showing off their new culinary skills to family and friends. Each participant receives access to all Hands On Gourmet’s recipes as a parting gift. We promise – you’re going to want to recreate these dishes at home!
